It was the pleading. She felt bad enough after everything else so she gave in and crawled out from under the blankets, sitting up with her arms still hugged around her middle. Cassie didn't look up from the blankets as she just miserably held out her hand for the painkillers.
"Thanks Kon." She said softly, "You didn't have to do that."
