Cassie held up her hands and then motioned for Sam to walk with her. "Oh no. I can't let you do that. I should tell you a story, about when I did kiss a boy last time this happened."

She wanted to take his hand but she refrained, instead putting them in the pockets of her shorts, kept from the last time this happened. "A gay friend of mine wasn't effected last time this happened and his friends from home held a party. I was so miserable that I went and got completely drunk. My friend, Eric, wanted to take a walk and while we were walking, he kissed me. Apparently, I was the perfect boy to him."

Cassie shrugged with a small smile. "Needless to say, it didn't end well."
