It was pretty obvious that Cassie blamed herself, so Sam didn't feel like he needed to stay there. Grabbing onto the tree and the surrounding hill Sam began to slowly make his way out of his little shelter. Now that the adrenaline had worn off, he felt absolutely exhausted.
